The firm has a strong global presence, operating from more than 15 countries and over 40 permanent locations. In addition to on-site auctions, Ritchie Bros. provides online auctioneering services, used to continue equipment auctions during the COVID-19 pandemic. The firm had more than 23,500 bidders registering from 58 countries for their first completely online auction. The auction from Ritchie Bros. Edmonton site saw the sale of over 10,700 items with a total gross transactional value in excess of CA$184M.
