CIA is to auction a selection of assets from a bakery production plant. The assets come to the market following the closure of the Brill Inc facility in Tucker, Georgia.
Brill Inc was founded in 1928 and manufactures baking ingredients and products including glazes, toppings and icings. The company is a subsidiary of CSM baking solutions and operate eight manufacturing plants. Plans to cease production at one of the two Brill Inc facilities located in Tucker were announced in 2019. The company stated that the decision was made following a comprehensive review of manufacturing capabilities.
Bidding in the online auction closes on the 13th of February. The assets can be inspected on the 12th of February and include: Cookie lines; Unifiller auto decorating lines; Sigma and Roller bar mixers; Unifiller decorating depositors and hopper toppers; continuous mixing and batter skids; batch mixers; Rheon Cornucopia tort forming line with Hacos enrober and cooling tunnel; cup cake decorating line (new); FoodTools ACC-200HS ultrasonic cake slicer; Fedco cake depositing line; metal detectors, formers, erectors and packers; Fritsch 20-unit make-up line with extrusion; sheeting, laminating, forming, depositing and butter application for cinnamon rolls, puff pastry, strudel, flat breads and more. Multiple packaging lines, conveyor, robotic palletizing and rack washers.
