Rabin, industry leaders in asset liquidations and auctioneers, will auction equipment from the Kroger Bakery installation located in Columbus, Ohio.
Whilst grocery stores account for 94% of company sales, Kroger also operate 35 food manufacturing facilities. The closure of the Kroger Columbus Bakery site was announced in February 2019. In a statement Kroger said that “After evaluation of the equipment and layout of the plant, it became clear that the outdated layout and age of the equipment were no longer sustainable for us to remain competitive”.
Lots in the timed online auction will open for bidding on the 12th of September and will close on the 19th of September.
