Tiger Group, experts in asset valuation and disposition services, are to sell assets available following the closure of the D&W Fine Pack facility in San Bernardino, California.
D&W Fine Pack manufacture packaging products for the food service, supermarket and food processing industries. The firm announced the closure of its San Bernardino manufacturing plant in April 2019. Whilst distribution will continue from the site, manufacturing will be moved to D&W Fine Pack’s site in Indiana. The move was attributed to the high costs of operating a factory in California.
The live online webcast auction will take place on the 6th of February. Assets can be viewed ahead of the sale on the 5th of February and include:11 thermoforming lines featuring equipment from Irwin, Asano & Chou-Kagaku; Hitachi 51-inch Co-Extrusion Horizontal Sheet Extrusion Line; 2 Hitachi 63” inch Mono-Layer Sheet Extrusion Lines. 2 Complete Reclaim Pelletizing Lines; Cumberland Model 50 Granulator; Van Dam M-560 IR Multi-Color Printing Presses. Machine shop equipment including: Milltronics VM-16, Victor Bridge Mill, Jet Drill Press, Grand Rapids Centerless Grinder, Havlec Centerless Grinder, Jet Vertical Band Saw, Jet 1660 Engine Lathe, Jet Horizontal Band Saw, Tree Vertical Mil & Pedestal Grinders. Atlas-Copco Air Compressors, Kaeser Air Dryer & SSG Air Compressor, material handling and plant support equipment.
