Hilco Industrial, auctioneers with expertise in the sale of industrial machinery and equipment, are to sell a selection of assets formerly of the Canadian division of Bluewater Thermal Solutions. The sale takes place in conjunction with Park Thermal.
Bluewater Thermal Solutions operate a network of heat treatment and brazing plants across Canada and the United States. The company provides metal joining and thermal processing services from 12 locations to a wide range of industries including the aerospace, automotive, energy and construction sectors.
The webcast auction will take place on the 5th of December. The assets, located in Kitchener, Ontario, can be inspected on the 4th of December or by appointment. The equipment offered for sale is described as suitable for tool and die treatment, and general heat treat applications. Assets include:
Furnaces including: (5) 36” x 72” x 36” Gas-Fired Allcase Furnaces, 1800°F, w/ Rear Handlers, Atmosphere Control System; (4) 36” x 72” x 36” Gas-Fired Tempering Furnaces, 1400; (1) 36” x 72” x 36” Surface Combustion Uni-Draw Furnace (New 2013), 1400; (2) 600°F Gas-Fired Aluminum Straight-Through Aging Furnace Systems. Aluminum Heat Treat Systems including: (2) CAN-ENG Gas-Fired Basketless Continuous Systems, Integrated into Lean Manufacturing Cells, c/w Robotics, SCADA System, and a selection of support equipment.
