In a four-day sale this March Myron Bowling will sell cranes, lathes, welders, mills and other equipment formerly operated by turbine manufacturer Dresser-Rand. The auction is held in conjunction with Cincinnati Industrial Auctioneers.
Established in 1975 and incorporated in 1985, Myron Bowling Auctioneers is one of the largest industrial auctioneering firms providing services to clients across the United Stated, Canada and Mexico. The firm conducts around 80 auctions each year acting on behalf of a wide of industries including CNC machining, manufacturing, metal fabrication and rigging.
Engineering and manufacturing firm Dresser-Rand is owned by Siemens and specialise in the design, manufacture and service of steam turbines for the global power generation and energy sector. Their facility in Wellsville, New York, ceased operation in April 2020.
The webcast auctions will take place on the 8th, 9th, 10th and 11th of March. The equipment is available for preview on the 4th and 5th of March. Assets featured across the four days of the sale include: On Day 1: Gorbel and Spanco freestanding and column mounted jib cranes, Warner and Swasey 4A lathe; Biax scrapers, hand and power tools, grinders and radial arm drills. On Day 2: Waldrich Coburg CNC gantry mills, Safop Leonard 70/L-MC CNC lathe, American and Leblond Large capacity lathe, Bullard, Dorries and G&L VTLs and HBMs and Danobat RU6000-P hydraulic cylindrical grinder. On Day 3: PAR waterjet, Wheelabrator blast boot, Miller, Lincoln and Esab welders, plant support equipment, MG plasma table, Vidmar cabinets, drills and lathes. On day 4: Material handling equipment, spare parts inventory, fabricating equipment, forklifts, Ingersoll-Rand R190NE-A VSD 250-HP air compressor, and much more.
