Perfection Machinery Sales Inc., in conjunction with The Branford Group, present three days of auctions which will see the sale of assets from lighting manufacturer, Ledvance.
Ledvance manufacture LED and traditional lighting products. In 2018 the company announced the closure of their manufacturing facilities in Versailles, Kentucky and the realignment of operations at their site in St Marys, Pennsylvania to focus on the development of production of LED lamps. The decision to close the Kentucky plant was attributed to a decrease in demand for the types of products made at the plant, such as traditional light bulbs, fluorescent tubes and floodlights.
The series of online auctions begins on the 3rd of December with the sale of assets from the Versailles site, including: Late Model Robots, CNC Machine Tools, High Speed Presses, Welding Equipment, Gear Reducers and Pumps, Plant Support and Air Compressors. On the 4th of December, further assets from the Versailles facility will be auctioned including: Complete Photometry, QA and Inspection Labs, Labspheres, Acoustic Test Chamber, Lasers, Multimeters, Microscopes, X-Ray Inspection Machine, Electrodynamic Shaker and Environmental Chambers. Assets may be viewed on the 2nd of December or by appointment.
The third and final auction, on the 10th of December, features assets from the St Marys facility including: Late Model Fanuc Robots, CNC & Conventional Machine Tools, Testing, Inspection, Packaging Equipment and Automated Storage Systems. Assets may be inspected on the 9th of December or by appointment.
