Auction of Surface Mount & Power Generation Equipment

The Branford Group, global experts in auction and valuation across a diverse range of industries, will sell a selection of power generation manufacturing equipment. The assets for sale are surplus to the ongoing operation of GE Power and are located in Salem, Virginia.

GE Power are providers of power generation and energy delivery technologies. Operating in over 180 countries, one third of the world’s electricity is produced by GE Power technology. In 2018 the company announced tentative plans to close their Salem plant, attributing the decision to the ongoing challenges faced by the power industry.
