Apex Auctions are to sell assets from the Barking Power Station, UK, along with its training workshop, due to closure of the site. Apex Auctions, who are part of the Apex Group, are globally renowned with branches stretching from Britain to South Africa and Asia. For over a decade they have supported companies sell and manage their surplus assets, assisting both buyers and sellers due to their modern platform, widespread buyer database and accurate marketing.
The 42- acre site in the borough of Barking and Dagenham closed in 2014. A sequential demolition of the site has taken place since. In this auction there are many different assets for sale, comprising of mechanical, electrical and training workshop items. The auction is set to end on the 18th of September, with assets located in Purleigh, Essex, UK.
Over 100 lots will be for sale, including GEC Alstom Turbine Cranking Motor, ABB Industry Electric motor 35 Kw, Centrifugal Fan, Nash Vacuum Pump, Harrison Lathe, Boxford Vertical Milling Machine, RJH Linisher on Dust Extractor, Startrite Vertical Bandsaw, and many more.
All items will be able to be viewed upon the 17th of September.
