16th September 2020 – Sale of Coal Mining Equipment from Booth Energy

Myron Bowling Auctioneers was established in 1975 and incorporated in 1985. The firm is now one of the largest industrial auctioneering firms conducting around 80 auctions each year across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Myron Bowling Auctioneers acts on behalf of a wide range of industries including CNC machining, manufacturing, metal fabrication and rigging. Myron Bowling Auctioneers is selling a great offering of surface and underground coal mining equipment formerly of Booth Energy. The auction takes place in conjunction with Miedema Auctioneering Inc.

Booth Energy produces coal predominantly from the central Appalachia coal fields in Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky. The Booth Energy Group produces 7 million tons of coal each year using underground and surface mining techniques for supply to the domestic and export markets.

The webcast auction will take place on the 16th of September.The assets are location in several locations including Debord and Louisa, Kentucky and Naugatuk, Williamson, Dunlow, Delbarton, Bickmore and Lenore, West Virginia. Inspection is available on the 10th, 11th, 14th and 15th of September. Over 700 pieces of equipment will feature in the sale including: Superior SHM-21R/800 high wall miner; Broolville locomotives; Joy continuous miners; Fletcher and Bucyrus roof bolters; coal shovels by O&K and Komatsu; section scoops including equipment by Coal Age, S&S, Fairchild and Ingersoll Rand.
