Hilco Industrial is selling assets from West End Brewery, located in South Australia. The production line assets are available immediately following the closure of the major commercial brewery.
West End Brewery have brewed on the site since 1980, but a brewery has operated there since 1886.The closure of West End Brewery was announced in October 2020, a decision influenced by changing consumer tastes – shifting to craft beer and wine – and the impact of the coronavirus pandemic on the pub industry. The closure affects over 90 jobs.
Equipment available includes: 500hl Steinecker Brewhouse, circa 2015; cider fermentation and filtration; engine room and plant services; beer filtration equipment; bottling lines; juice storage and cider canopy; keg line; canning line; fermentation and maturation equipment; raw material handling and storage equipment.
