Asset valuation and disposition specialists Tiger will this February sell a selection of biopharma processing and laboratory equipment, formerly of Cody Laboratories. The sale takes place in cooperation with GoIndustry DoveBid and Perry Videx.
Cody Laboratories was founded in 2000 and manufactured medications including pain-killing opioids and thyroid medication. In June 2019 Cody Laboratories announced the closure of their facility in Cody, Wyoming. Lannett, the Philadelphia-based company which owns Cody Laboratories, stalled their planned expansion of the company in 2018 and put it up for sale. A buyer could not be found, and the decision was taken to decommission the plant.
The auction takes place on the 25th of February. Items featured in the sale, which are located in Cody, Wyoming and Hainesport, New Jersey, include: Heinkel HF800P Hastelloy peeler centrifuge; process centrifuge; 1000 Liter Hastelloy C22 conical dryer; conical mixing dryer; 375 Gallon Hastelloy C22 vertical reactors; 300 Liter DCI Hastelloy C22 pressure vessel; stainless steel vertical pressure vessels; glass lined reactors; stainless steel reactor; stainless steel jacketed mix tank; stainless steel horizontal tankshydrogenation skid; 2015 Lattner natural gas boiler; Gardner Denver vacuum pumps; heat exchanger; oil-free air compressors; Drake water cooled chiller.
