Industrial Auctions are specialists in the online auction of inventory, goods and machinery. The firm are to auction machinery from the production plant of Bernard Matthews located in Great Witchingham, UK.
Turkey producer Bernard Matthews Ltd was established in 1958. Rutland Partners made a major investment in the company in 2013. Bernard Matthews was then bought from Rutland Partners by owner of the 2 Sisters Food Group, Ranjit Boparan. In April 2017 the closure of chicken production at the Great Witchingham site was announced. A spokesperson for Bernard Matthews stated that “these changes will enable the business to focus on what we’re best at and allow us to make things happen with agility and pace”.
The online auction will close on the 1st of October. Key assets include:
