Biditup Auctioneers, who conduct over 100 auctions annually, in conjunction with Maynards Industries & Federal Equipment Company, are to sell a former tape manufacturing equipment facility. The 124,000 sq ft modern manufacturing building will be auctioned with equipment including: complete blown 83” w polytype blown film line, guzzetti slitting & packaging lines, rewind machines, rolling stock, spare parts/pumps/motors/gear boxes/bearings & much more.
The Cantech facility in Johnson City, Tennessee, was an expansion of the company from Montreal in 1983. Since then the company has continued to grow with a new production line being installed in 2015 to make strapping tape products. The choice to close the Johnson City facility was said to be a ‘Business Decision’.
The online only, live webcast auction will take place on August 15th 2019. Key assets include: 23,500 Square Feet on 10.4 Acres of Industrial Realestate, which consists of 17’6″ – 26’2″ Ceiling Height, 6″ Reinforced Concrete Floors & Heavy Power. A Complete Blown 84″ Polytype Blown Film Line: 7 Zones/Rotating Die/Collapsible Frame – New 1996 and equipment from the converting and maintenance departments.
