Canadian global asset management firm Ritchie Bros. was first established in 1958 and has since grown to be one of the largest auctioneers of trucks and heavy equipment worldwide. Operating from more than 40 permanent auction sites in over 15 countries, Ritchie Bros. provides auctioneering services to businesses across the construction, mining and transportation sectors amongst others. A recent online auction from Ritchie Bros. facility in Houston, Texas saw a record-breaking number of bidders, with over 11,100 participants registering from more than 60 countries across the world. More than 5,300 items were sold with a gross transactional value of US$57+ million, a new site record for an August auction.
On the 6th of October Ritchie Bros. will sell lowboys, tank trailers, winch tractors, bed trucks and truck tractors from their Grand Prairie location in Alberta, and real estate. The assets include equipment from the complete dispersal of DRS Energy Services Inc. Online bidding is required for the auction.

Real estate featured in the sale comprises a 5.63+/- acre parcel of industrial property featuring shop and office buildings; a 1.63+/- acre parcel of industrial property, and a 13.6+/- acre parcel of residential property, all located in Fort Nelson, British Columbia.
