Worldwide asset management experts EquipNet are a leading provider of auctioneering, appraisal and asset redeployment services to the industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics and consumer goods industries. This October EquipNet will sell hematology and histology equipment and other laboratory equipment formerly of Novartis. The sale features equipment from manufacturers including Waters, GE Healthcare, Applied Biosystems, Buchi and Bruker.
Novartis is a multinational pharmaceutical firm based in Switzerland. The company comprises two operating divisions: Sandoz, focused on generic pharmaceuticals and biosimilars; and Innovative Medicines, focused on patent-protected prescription medicines. Novartis products are marketed in around 155 countries across the world.
The online auction takes place on the 27th of October. The assets are located predominantly in Cambridge, Massachusetts and Hanover, New Jersey. Inspection is available by appointment with the auctioneer only.
