Established in 1958, Vancouver-based Ritchie Bros. is a leading auctioneer of heavy equipment, operating from more than 15 countries. The firm provides online auctioneering services alongside on-site auctions from more than 40 permanent locations. In an incredibly successful summer, Ritchie Bros sold almost 8,700 items via their IronPlanet marketplace this July. During the first half of 2020 73 million visits were made to Ritchie Bros online platforms and in the 12 months to July 2020, the firm sold over US$1 billion of equipment.
This September, Ritchie Bros will sell a huge offering of equipment in a Midwest regional event. The sale features more than 3,000 items including truck tractors, van trailers, boom lifts, wheel loaders, cranes and hydraulic excavators. The assets are located and available for inspection across three of Ritchie Bros locations: Chicago, Illinois, Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Kansas City, Missouri. The online only auction will take place on the 22nd and 23rd of September.
