The sale takes place in conjunction with Maynards Industries.
Metal fabrication and manufacturing company MEC Inc. was founded in 1945. The firm provides tooling, prototyping, coating and production fabrication services to clients across a broad range of markets. MEC Inc. announced the closure of their facility in Greenwood, South Carolina in May. Operations from the site will be transferred to other MEC Inc. facilities located in Michigan, Ohio and Wisconsin.
