National asset disposition firm New Mill Capital, experts in equipment auction and liquidation, are to sell the Blue Pants 15 BBL Microbrewery located in Madison, Alabama.
Established in 2010, Blue Pants Brewery opened their Madison brewery site in 2011 producing craft beers distributed in Alabama, Tennessee, Mississippi and Georgia. The site closed on the 23rd of August and in a statement on their website Blue Pants Brewery said that “due to recent events and negations, we are no longer able to continue doing business at our current location”. Blue Pants are “pursuing the opportunity” to keep their brands of beer “on the shelves for a while longer” by brewing under contract with other breweries in the State.
The online auction will begin on the 4th of September, with lots closing on the 11th of September.
Key assets to be auctioned include:2012 15 BBL Brewhouse Package; 2015 Fermenters/Unitanks and Brite Tanks from 30-60 BBL; 2016 Canning Line; Bottler; Keg Washer; Still Dragon; Glycol Chiller; Grain System; Kegs of Multiple Sizes; Pumps; Cooler; Taproom Equipment.
Assets may be viewed on the 9th and 10th of September or by appointment.
