Worldwide auction and appraisal specialists BIDITUP will this January sell a wide range of assets from the Crabtree & Evelyn production facility located in Woodstock, Connecticut. The sale takes place in conjunction with Harry Davis & Company and Maynards Industries.
Founded in 1955, Crabtree & Evelyn are retailers of fragrance, body and home care products. The brand was acquired by the Hong Kong based Nan Hai Corporation in 2016.Plans to end manufacturing at Crabtree & Evelyn’s Woodstock plant were announced in late 2018.
Bidding on lots in the global online auction will close on the 31st of January. The assets can be viewed between the 28th and 29th of January or by appointment and include:
Fillers and cappers including: Norden Tube Fillers; Simplex Fillers; Natural Filamatic Fillers; SureKap 6-Spindle Cap System and Cap Tightener;Swanmatic Cap Masters. Labelers and coders including: 2012 Kosme Labeler; CVC Round Bottle Labeler; 2016 videojet laser coders. Blending tanks and pumps including: 2011 Feldmeier 1500 Dome-Top Jacketed Mix Tanks; Guisti 2,000 liter vacuum mix tank; Hamilton 250 gallon S/S jacketed kettle. Large quantity of Garvey and Hyterol product and carton conveyors. Boiler, chiller and air compressors. Lab equipment including: BD Facs Microcount, Mettler scales, Perkin Elmer Frontier spectrometer, microscopes, Anton Paar density meter, pH meters, environmental chambers, Silverstein and Admix high shear mixers, and material handling equipment.
