Auctioneers Troostwijk in an auction presented by Dechow Auktionen, will sell a range of solar cell production peripherals, high-tech laboratory equipment and supply systems. The assets come to the market following the closure of the Astroenergy solar module plant in Frankfurt (Oder).
Founded in 2006, Astroenergy specialise in monocrystalline and polycrystalline PV modules and were the first Chinese solar energy company to establish a manufacturing plant in Germany. In early 2019 Astroenergy announced the planned closure of their Frankfurt (Oder) facility, a decision attributed to increasing competition from China. Going forward the company’s German office will focus on marketing and customer service.
