In an online auction closing on the 8th of September Apex Auctions will sell a great selection of machining equipment surplus to the ongoing needs of Triumph Motorcycles.
UK-based Triumph Motorcycles operates production sites in Leicestershire, UK and Thailand, with factories in Brazil and India supplying local markets. In February this year Triumph Motorcycles announced plans to move mass production to Thailand, a move influenced by the firm’s expanding Asian market. Of the 65,000 bikes planned for manufacture this year 52-53,000 will be manufactured in Thailand. Triumph’s UK site will become a research and development centre.
The assets are located in Hinckley, Leicestershire and may be viewed on the 25th of August.
