Harry Davis & Company is selling food processing equipment from a complete food processing plant operated by Cacique Foods. Cacique Foods manufactures Mexican style cheese, chorizos, cremas and salsas. The firm recently announced the closure of their dairy production facility in City of Industry, California and the relocation of the firm’s dairy operations to a new site in Amarillo, Texas. The decision to move from California to Texas came following analysis which concluded that the relocation of business operations would help meet growing demand for Cacique Foods products, with the new site having a greater production capacity.
The online auction closes over three days on the 6th, 7th and 8th of December. Day 1 features dairy processing equipment, day 2 features packaging equipment, laboratory equipment and utilities, and day 3, material handling equipment, general facility equipment and $10,000,000 spare parts inventory.
Over 200 lots feature in the auction including: (12) Walker 2,000 gallon 316L S/S scrape-surface processors, (4) pasteurization systems w/ separators and homogenizers (as new as 2020), (27) refrigerated silos up to 60,000 gallons, (2) Scott Turbon 2,000 gallon vacuum jacketed homogenizing blenders, ultra-filtration, reverse osmosis and polisher filtration systems, (6) Vemag & Handtmann stuffers (as new as 2020), bottling line for dressings and drinkable yogurts, 2019 Mycom screw ammonia compressors, (4) GEA thermoforming packaging lines, (8) CIP systems, Allen-Bradley MCCs and electrical components (as new as 2020) and much, much more.
