In an online auction closing on the 12th of December, CRG, in conjunction with B Riley, is auctioning CNC Machines, milling and grinding equipment, coil steel and wire fabricating equipment, stamping press lines and plant support equipment from a tool manufacturing and assembly plant operated by Ames. The assets are surplus to the ongoing operations of the firm.
Ames manufactures a wide range of tools, including tools for cultivating, lawn care, planting, digging and hand tools. Their collections include carbon and stainless steel products. Ames tools are supplied across the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom, and the firm holds manufacturing partnerships in India and China.
