The assets come to the market due to plant closure. Wisconsin-based Briggs & Stratton produces engines for outdoor power equipment. The firm manufactures standby generator, lithium-ion battery, energy storage system, turf care, lawn and garden and job site products sold under a number of brand names in over 100 countries.

Day 1 of the 2-day auction is a webcast sale. Taking place on the 5th of December, the auction features: (8) National cold formers and bolt makers; Cincinnati #340-20 centerless grinders; Cincinnati thru-feed grinders; Van Norman #2C centerless grinders; Acme-Gridley automatic screw machines; LeBlond 15” x 30” tool room lathe; Bridgeport vertical milling machine; Dake hydraulic shop press; Williams #5600 endothermic gas generator; Lindberg heat treat furnaces; tempering furnace and much more. Day 2 of the auction is an online sale closing on the 6th of December and featuring: Vidmar multi-drawer storage cabinets; MRO Items; Leco #CM-15 cut-off saw; hardness testers; Harshaw-Filtrol humidity test chamber and much more. The assets are located in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin and can be inspected on the 4th of December or by appointment.
