Harry Davis & Company is auctioning dairy equipment including cottage cheese, butter, ice cream and fluid milk production assets from Alpenrose and Larsen’s Dairy.

Dairy firm Alpenrose was founded in 1916. The Portland based business supplies fresh, local dairy products to retailers, restaurants and manufacturers across the Pacific North West region. In 2022 Alpenrose announced their acquisition of Larsen’s Creamery. The firm will move production to a new location in January 2024, installing new equipment and bringing production of milk, butter and sour cream to one site. This auction features surplus production equipment from the Alpenrose Portland facility.

The online auction will open on the 30th of January and bidding closes on the 1st of February. Assets available in the sale include: Westfalia BUC continuous butter churn, ice cream mix and processing equipment, cottage cheese production equipment including (3) Walker 1,290 Gallon PZ-CB-SP tanks and Kusel drainer/washer/cooler, (6) refrigerated S/S silos up to 30,000 gallons and (8) S/S processors, up to 1,500 gallon, (3) Walker 4,000 and 2,000 Gallon buttermilk tanks, Federal fillers, Tetra Pak TR7 gable top filler, (3) HTST systems, Liquibox bag-in-box filler, CIP systems and more.
