Heritage Global Partners is auctioning a great offering of processing and laboratory equipment from Locanabio, including equipment manufactured by Agilent, Beckman Coulter, Eppendorf and Thermo Scientific. The online auction closes on the 19th of January. Biotechnology firm Locanabio was launched in 2016. The firm develops genetic therapies targeting RNA for the treatment of genetic neurodegenerative and neuromuscular diseases including Duchenne muscular dystrophy, myotonic dystrophy type 1, amyotrophic lateral sclerosis and frontotemporal dementia. The decision to discontinue Locanabio’s operations was announced by the firm in November.
