CRG, in conjunction with B Riley, is auctioning assets from a 450,000 square foot manufacturing facility operated by Ames. The online auction will take place between the 21st and 23rd of February. The machine tools and CNC machine assets come to the market due to plant closure. Ames manufactures a wide range of hand-powered landscaping tools, including tools for cultivating, lawn care, planting, digging and hand tools. Their collections include carbon and stainless steel products. Ames tools are supplied across the United States, Canada, Australia, Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The auction features a great offering of well-maintained equipment including: Cincinnati Milacron, Van Dorn, Engel and Sumitomo Demag plastic injection molding machines; plastic support equipment including Sepro & Universal robots (to 2021), Husky Gammaflux 6 -12 Zone hotrunners, Milford & Orbitform riveters, Mitsui dryers and Maquire blenders; Numalliance Numac 3010 CNC wire and tube bender (2019), Drawing Technology 3815 wire drawer with pull pointer and uncoiler (2019); toolroom equipment including Doosan M1260 vertical machining center (2014), Makino PS95 vertical machining center (2013), Hyundai Wia L280 CNC slant bed lathe; stamping presses, plant support equipment and much, much more. The assets are located in Camp Hill, Pennsylvania and can be inspected on the 19th and 20th of February.
