Rabin, in partnership with CRG and PPL Auctions, is auctioning assets from a paper mill formerly operated by Verso Corporation. The 3-day timed online auction will take place on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of July.
Verso Corporation, a specialist manufacturer of coated paper products, merged with Swedish pulp and paper company Billerud in 2022. Operations to convert graphic paper and cartonboard rolls into sheets continued at the plant in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin following the merger. The sale of the idled portions of the mill – which ceased operation in 2020 – was announced earlier this year.
Assets available include:Voith Sulzer 240” trim paper machine, (5) Fiber Pulp 5’ x 5’ – 316ss thick stock screens, (5) Beloit DD 4000 refiners, Voith 2-stage 244” wide multi roll coating system, Caterpillar D8T and D8R bulldozers, Volvo L40B-TP wheeled front end loader, Caterpillar and Yale electric lift trucks, starch coating make-up kitchen, bridge cranes, air compressors, fully complete new spare parts and motor inventory over $15 million at cost and featuring Allen Bradley electrical components, electric motors, new bearings and pillow blocks, and more.
