Harry Davis & Company is auctioning Parmesan cheese packaging equipment formerly operated by Saputo. The assets come to the market due to facility closure. Canadian dairy processing firm Saputo manufactures and distributes a large range of cheese and other dairy products, including fluid milk, cream products, cultured products, extended shelf-life milk and dairy ingredients. Saputo products are sold under a number of brand names in several countries.
The assets will be sold in an online auction taking place between the 30th of October and 1st of November. Equipment available includes: Parmesan drying system, Parmesan block and wheel further processing equipment, multi-head scales, cheese can filling line, multiple packaging lines, mixing, tumbling and sifting equipment, case handling, S/S conveyors and elevators, forklift fleet, material handling, warehouse, parts, general plant equipment and more.
The assets are located in Big Stone City, South Dakota and can be inspected by appointment with the auctioneer only.
