Xerox Process Plant and Equipment

Around 750 Lots of Process, Packaging and Industrial Equipment Available in Final Phase Sale

Sanderson Weatherall is preparing for a major online auction of process plant and industrial equipment formerly used by Xerox in the production of coloured toner and the filling of printer cartridges.

Taking place on 22 September 2026, the final phase auction is being held on the instructions of Ramparts Property Services, following its recent acquisition of the buildings, together with another vendor. Approximately 750 lots are expected to be offered on a piecemeal basis, subject to the conditions of sale, prior sale and availability.

The scale and diversity of the equipment makes this a particularly interesting sale for manufacturers, processors, engineering businesses and equipment dealers. The assets cover extrusion, blending, grinding, filling and packaging, alongside robotic automation, compressed air systems, materials handling and warehouse equipment.

Key Process Plant, Packaging and Automation Equipment

Among the principal assets scheduled for sale are:

  • Two palletising lines with stretch wrappers, including a 2016 system equipped with an ABB robotic arm.
  • Approximately 35 GEI/GEA Gallay stainless steel hopper discharge and filling stands, together with around 90 stainless steel bulk containers.
  • Six Ingersoll-Rand centrifugal air compressors, together with IR Sierra and Nirvana packaged compressors, desiccant dryers, filters and receivers.
  • Carrier and Trane water-cooled chillers, heat exchangers and centrifugal pumps.
  • Donaldson Torit dust collection and receiver filter units, together with associated fans and cyclones.

Forklifts, Workshop Machinery and Site Equipment Also Included

The auction extends well beyond the main process plant. Buyers will also find maintenance workshop equipment, industrial pallet racking, warehouse equipment, access machinery and an extensive selection of materials-handling assets.

The mobile equipment includes 10 forklift and reach Pyroban trucks, with two 2023 Linde R14 battery-electric reach trucks, Toyota reach equipment and a Linde EVO E16-02 counterbalance truck. Also included is a 2019 JCB Loadall 540-200 telescopic handler, two JCB 35D narrow-aisle Teletruks and two Genie scissor lifts.

Workshop assets include a Colchester Triumph 2500 centre lathe, Bridgeport turret-head milling machine, workshop press, bandsaw, fume extraction equipment and hand tools. Industrial pallet racking, pallet wrapping equipment, waste balers and compactors, mobile access platforms, trolleys and other factory support equipment complete the broad offering.

With machinery spanning complete production processes as well as individual items of plant, the auction provides an opportunity for businesses looking to add capacity, replace existing machinery or source specialist equipment from an established manufacturing facility.
