Maynards is auctioning machinery and equipment – including a drive unit assembly line, vertical lathes, CNC lathes, gear hobbers, honing, grinding, and double spindle machines – formerly operated by Magna Powertrain. The assets come to the market due to facility closure. The auction comprises the private treaty sale of the NAG3 Hybrid ZB unit assembly line, and an online auction of other assets, closing on the 9th of October.

Mobility technology company Magna Powertrain supplies components to the automotive industry. Their products include electrified, conventional and mild hybrid powertrain technologies, exterior and interior components – including mirrors, lighting and seating, electrical and electronic components, body and chassis. The firm operates over 300 manufacturing facilities and over 100 product development, engineering and sales centres across 28 countries.

Equipment available in the auction includes: metal cabinets, tool trolleys, work benches, Geibel & Hotz surface grinding machine, Knuth Servomill 700 conventional milling machine, Rema DS 12 / 200 A bench grinder, Samputensili S 150 CNC gear hobbing machine, Marposs Merlin measuring station, Gleason – Pfauter P 200 CNC gear hobbing machine, DMG Mori Seiki CTX 310 Ecoline CNC lathe, Niles N 10 / 630 CNC lathe, Tacchella Pulsar C375 S1860RS CNC external cylindrical grinding machine, Meissner Technik Muellenbach DA WST 4-station through-feed washing machine, Schaudt PS 51 N 600 CNC external cylindrical grinding machine and much, much more. The assets are located in Roitzsch, Germany and can be previewed by appointment with the auctioneer only.
