Rabin is auctioning assets from a paper mill formerly operated by Verso Corporation. The auction takes place in partnership with CRG and PPL Auctions. Day 2 of the 3-day timed, online auction takes place on the 24th of April and includes construction equipment and heavy machinery.
Coated paper manufacturer Verso Corporation merged with Swedish pulp and paper company Billerud in 2022. Operations at their Wisconsin Rapids paper mill ceased in 2020. Following the merger, Billerud continued converting operations at the site. The sale of the idled portions of the mill was announced earlier this year.
The auction features heavy mobile fleet, manlifts, forklifts and pickup trucks. Lots available in the sale include: Caterpillar D8T and D8R bulldozers, Case 850G tracked bull dozer, Volvo wheeled front end loaders, models L90H, L90C, and L40B-TB, John Deere 544H and New Holland W80TC-T3 front end loaders, Caterpillar 936F, 920 and 950 loaders, 2012 Western Star Heavy Duty dump truck, Caterpillar, Toyota, Linde and Mitsubishi LP gas powered forklifts, Genie and Snorkle hydraulic boom lifts, Case 1845C skid steers and much more.
The assets can be inspected by appointment with the auctioneer only.
