Harry Davis & Company is auctioning blow molding and dairy equipment formerly used in the production of cottage cheese and cultured products by Grupo LALA. The online auction will take place between the 20th and 22nd of August. Mexican dairy company Grupo LALA was founded in 1949. The firm expanded operations into the United States in 2005, where it operates manufacturing plants in Colorado and Nebraska. Grupo LALA products include milk and flavoured milks, cottage cheese, yoghurts, yoghurt smoothies and sour cream marketed under brands including Promised Land Dairy, Frusion, Skim Plus and Nordica.
Lots featured in the auction include: Kusel cultured product processing equipment including Kusel S/S drainer / washer / cooler submarine, (3) Walker 1,290 gallon dome-top cone-bottom jacketed 316 S/S drainer, creamer tanks, (4) Kusel S/S cheese vats, (11) Walker, DCI and APV 316 S/S processing tanks, (2) Walker 3,000 gallon dome-top cone-bottom jacketed 316L S/S processors; cultured product packaging equipment including (2) Delkor spot packers, (2) Delkor tray bundlers Packaging Technologies 3-lane s/s filler; (2) 2015 Serac blow molders; Breddo 100 gallon S/S likwifier; (2) Ecolab S/S skid mounted 2-tank CIP systems; general plant equipment and more. The assets are located in Colorado Springs, Colorado and can be inspected by appointment only.
