Rabin is auctioning a great selection of food processing equipment and chocolate making equipment formerly operated by Blommer Chocolate Company. The auction takes place in partnership with Union Confectionery Machinery. Blommer Chocolate Company was founded in 1939. The cocoa bean processor and ingredient chocolate supplier operates four manufacturing facilities in North America, supplying to the baking, confectionery and dairy industries. Blommer Chocolate Company products include branded chocolates, milk, dark and white chocolate, chocolate drops and chunks, confectionery coatings, cocoa powders and cocoa butter. The timed, online auction will take place on the 25th and 26th of June. ​

Equipment featured in the sale includes: Bean receiving and cleaning equipment including Buhler model MTRB 100/200A separator, Buhler, model MTSC 120/120 destoner, Rice Lake Master Beans unloading hopper; Roasting, grinding and winnowing equipment including (2)  Lehmann pre-refiners with screw and band transfer conveyor, (6) Buhler 5 roller refiner, (2) Buhler 4500lbs/hr. 3 zone vertical roasters (2001), (2) Buhler modular batch steam sterilizers; Duyvis Weiner model CBPDA-45/60/20, 12 pot hydraulic cocoa butter press (2016); (7) Duyvis Weiner 12 pot hydraulic Cocoa Butter Presses; black cocoa reactors , milling , bagging and palletizing equipment including (5) 2001 Hudson Black Cocoa rotary drum reactors, (3) Supersack bulk bag unloaders with load cells; chocolate tanks, melters and tempering units, chocolate drop lines, packaging equipment and much more.
