Rabin is selling fresh produce equipment from a late model production facility for packaging leafy salads and vegetable mixes formerly operated by Saladexpress Inc. The auction takes place in partnership with Infinity Asset Solutions, Crescent Commercial Corporation and TCL Asset Group.
Canadian firm Saladexpress Inc. specialises in the preparation, processing and packaging of pre-cooked and fresh vegetables supplied to professional and home cooks across Eastern Canada and the United States. Saladexpress Inc. announced its closure earlier this year.
The timed online auction will take place on the 7th and 8th of November and features: leafy salad mix processing and packaging line (installed 2018); cabbage coring, processing and packaging line (installed 2020); mixed vegetable processing and packaging line (installed 2020); spinach mix processing and packaging line (installed 2010); onion processing department featuring 2020 Finis fully automatic line, Urschel Diversacut 2110 and model GK mobile dicers, (2) Backus “small run” onion peeling/cutter lines, Sesotec metal detector and inclined cleated belt conveyors; carrot and celery processing department; small vegetable stick processing and packaging area; production and packaging support equipment; plant and facility support equipment. The assets are located in St Remi, Quebec.
