EquipNet is auctioning lab equipment from a crop science laboratory formerly operated by Pivot Bio. The assets come to the market due to the closure of the facility in Berkeley, California. Crop technology firm Pivot Bio specialises in the development of microbes to turn atmospheric nitrogen into ammonia directly at the plant root. Pivot Bio products are available for use with corn, corn silage, wheat and sorghum.

The online auction will take place between the 21st and 24th of October. Over 360 lots feature in the auction, including: Protein Simple Jess protein analysis system, Advanced Analytical ZAG DNA analyzer system, Molecular Devices QPIX 420 colony picker, Eppendorf Research DASGIP MP8 bioreactor, large number of Rainin Pipet-Lite XLS, Eppendorf 5390 microplate heat sealer, LumiGrow Pro-650 E Pro Series grow lamps, Misonix Sonicator S3000 ultrasonic cell disruptor, large quantity of miscellaneous laboratory equipment and consumables, and much more. The assets are located in San Jose, California and may be inspected by appointment only.
