EquipNet is auctioning surplus laboratory equipment from Pacific Biosciences Omniome facility. Founded in 2004, Pacific Biosciences specialises in the development and manufacture of systems for gene sequencing and real time biological observation. The firm acquired DNA sequencing technology developer Omniome in 2021.
The online auction will take place between the 16th and 19th of September and features: Thermo Scientific Q Exactive mass spectrometer with UltiMate 3000 UHPLC, Molecular Devices SpectraMax iD5 multi mode microplate reader, BD FACSAria Fusion Special Order Fusion flow cytometer, Stilla Technologies NAICA PRISM3 digital PCR system, Hamilton Vantage 1.3 liquid handler system with computer and software, Protein Simple Jess protein analysis system, Velocity11 BenchCel 4R microplate stacker, Nuaire Glacier Minus 86C ultralow temperature freezer, Thermo Fisher Scientific Sorvall Lynx 4000 superspeed centrifuge, refurbished Promega GloMax Discover luminescence microplate reader, Thermo Scientific NanoDrop 2000 UV-Vis spectrophotometer, Agilent Bravo liquid handler and much more. The assets are located at EquipNet’s facility in San Diego, California and can be viewed by appointment with the auctioneer only.
