Aaron Industrial Solutions, in partnership with AllSurplus, is selling a 110,000 BPD oil refinery located in Portugal. The refinery, producing diesel, fuel oil, gasoline and jet fuel, was built in 1969 and ceased production in 2021. The feedstock of the plant is Arabian light crude. The Nelson Complexity Rating of the refinery is 9.1 (2019).
The auction closes on the 15th of March. The refinery features: 80MW cogeneration power plant, (2) gas turbine generators (natural gas, 40MW each), (2) NEM heat recovery steam generators (67Bar @450C or 970psig @ 840 built 2009); electric power generation plant (steam turbine generators), (1) 61MVA generator, (1) 61,250KVA generator, (1) 49,000KW generator (built 1969, upgraded 1980); transformers; atmospheric crude distillation units; vacuum distillation units; Visbreaker unit 17,500 bpd; naptha hydrotreating unit 33,400 bpd (upgraded 1991 and 2010); diesel hydrotreating units; continuous catalytic reforming unit; MEK dewaxing unit; aromatics units.
