In a live webcast auction which will take place on the 15th of February, Holland Industrial Group is selling pulp plant assets from a late model pulp plant operated by Columbia Pulp. The auction takes place in conjunction with Loeb, Maynards Industries and Global Equipment Int’l LLC. Columbia Pulp uses waste straw to produce pulp used to manufacture paper products – including towels, tissues and container – and bio-polymers used in industrial applications. The firm was the first mill in North America to manufacture these products without using woodchips. Columbia Pulp operates facilities in Lyons Ferry and Pomeroy, Washington. The Columbia Pulp plant was built in 2018, with over $150 MM invested and was operational for one year only.
The assets are located in Dayton, Washington State and can be viewed on the 14th of February or by appointment. The auction features: turbine equipment, natural gas reciprocating engine, natural gas boilers, condensers, evaporators, thermal oxidizer system, tanks, cooling towers, wet lap machines, oxidizers, refiners, generators, reactors, RO water treatment, screeners, centrifuges, large quantity of new electrical and Siemens control equipment and much more.
