Rabin Worldwide, in partnership with M&M Auctions, is conducting a timed online auction featuring machinery and equipment formerly used by a major sausage manufacturer in New Haven, Connecticut. The auction will take place on 8 December 2026, offering buyers the opportunity to acquire a wide range of meat processing, packaging, refrigeration and material handling equipment.
The sale includes machinery used throughout sausage production, from initial mixing and grinding through to stuffing, linking, packaging and labelling. With equipment from established manufacturers including Risco, Handtmann, Velati, Scandivac and Mettler Toledo, the auction offers a selection of machinery suitable for food processors looking to expand production capacity, replace existing equipment or invest in additional processing capabilities.
Sausage Processing and Packaging Equipment Highlights
The auction features a broad selection of processing and packaging machinery, including several relatively recent models. Key assets include:
- Biro AFMG 56-4 mixer grinder and Velati TA-180 stainless steel meat grinder.

These include two 2019 Kenworth T270 box vans fitted with Thermo King refrigeration units, a 2022 Utility 53-foot refrigerated trailer and a selection of Carrier refrigerated containers.
Material handling equipment includes Toyota and Hangcha LPG forklifts, Toyota electric pallet movers and an Orion semi-automatic pallet wrapper.
Additional facility equipment comprises Sullair Hitachi air compressors manufactured in 2022 and 2023, Busch vacuum pumps, industrial weighing scales, workshop machinery, welders and pallet racking.
