In a 3-day sale this April, Rabin is auctioning assets from a paper mill formerly operated by Verso Corporation. The sale is held in partnership with CRG and PPL Auctions. Day 3 of the 3-day timed, online auction takes place on the 25th of April and features paper mill pumps and production support equipment.
Verso Corporation, a specialist manufacturer of coated paper products, merged with Swedish pulp and paper company Billerud in 2022. Operations to convert graphic paper and cartonboard rolls into sheets continued at the plant in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin following the merger. The sale of the idled portions of the mill – which ceased operation in 2020 – was announced earlier this year.
The sale features: Goulds 316L centrifugal pumps, Nash vacuum pumps, Andritz model TSP-mixer pump, Bird Centrisorter primary and secondary pressure screens, Impco hard and softwood knotters and drainers, Metso & Sunds twin roll wash presses, Andritz low pressure digester feeders, Beloit/GL&V 150” x 30”, and Beloit Belwind 88” x30” two drum rewinders, Murco (DJ Murry) 80” roll splitter and more.
The assets can be inspected by appointment with the auctioneer only.
