Cincinnati Industrial Auctioneers is selling presses and other metalworking assets from a 300,000 square foot automotive stamping facility operated by Associated Spring. Engineering firm Associated Spring specialises in the design and manufacture of engineered spring and precision metal components. Their products, manufactured using wire forms, mechanical springs, reed and flapper valves, washers, precision stampings and assemblies, are applied in the aerospace, transportation, construction, defense, energy, industrial and consumer products industries. Associated Spring operates from sites in the United States, Brazil, China, Mexico, Singapore and Thailand. The closure of the plant in Bristol, Connecticut, which focused on manufacturing, stamping and assembly of components for the automotive sector, was announced in 2022.

The two-day webcast auction will take place on the 13th and 14th of December and features: 800 ton Minster E2-800-54, 400 ton Minster E2-400-72-48, 300 ton Niagara SA2-300-72-43, 100 ton Minster P2H-100-48-31 and 60 ton Minster P2-60-36 SSDC presses; (15) Nilson four-slides to 3/16″, (5) Baird four-slides and Torin V82 verti-slide; (30) vibratory finishing bowls, (15) barrell blasters by Metfin, Pangborn Wheelabrator and Others; Abtex 2000-P-3-10 multi-head brush deburring line, Crown 5024W/BO stainless steel continuous belt parts washer (2014) and Sinto Roll-Flow EVF-08R parts finisher; ovens, inspection equipment, toolroom equipment, support equipment and much, much more. The assets can be inspected the day before the auction or by appointment with the auctioneer.
