Myron Bowling Auctioneers Inc. is selling a complete print press newspaper and distribution facility formerly operated by the Chicago Tribune. The auction takes place in conjunction with Revelation Machinery. Daily American newspaper, the Chicago Tribune, was founded in 1847 and is owned by Tribune Publishing. The two-day auction will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of May.
Assets available in the auction include: maintenance shop, toolroom and welding shop equipment; more than 25 forklifts including models by Crown, Cat, Yale and Hyster; floor scrubbers; battery chargers and spare batteries; over 75 Vidmar cabinets; huge offering of MRO and spare parts; motors, drivers and bearings; (5) Goss Magnapaks; Goss Metroliners; pre-press department; joggers, strappers and stackers; (3) Bobcat skidsteers; (2) Ford F-350 dump trucks with plows; memorabilia, vintage printing equipment and much more.
