New Mill Capital, in conjunction with Hilco Commercial Industrial, is auctioning food processing equipment assets from a fresh and frozen pasta plant formerly operated by Carla’s Pasta. Family-run Carla’s Pasta manufactures filled pastas, Italian sauces and pestos, appetizers and entrées.
The online auction opens on the 8th of May and bidding closes on the 15th of May. The late model Pavan and Pasta Technologies fresh pasta plant produces cavatelli, ravioli, manicotti, tortellini, cavatappi, gnocchi and other products. The plant features (6) complete pasta production lines, packaging department with 2017-2022 Hayssen and Triangle vertical form fill and seal departments featuring Triangle, Ishida and Yamato multi-head scales, Vemag HP portioning line, Deville FS-40 shredder, complete space suites with large capacity Breddo scrap surface liquifiers, cup filling line, downstream secondary packaging with Safeline X-ray, metal detections, checkweighers, cartoners, packers, late model case errectors, fully automated robotic palletizing system and much, much more. The assets are located in South Windsor, Connecticut and can be inspected by appointment only.
